Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Gangtok (Stay: Gangtok)

Your journey begins as our representative warmly welcomes you at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport / Siliguri. From here, you will start a beautiful drive towards Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
The route winds through lush green forests, river valleys, and charming hill roads.

  • Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the long journey.
    In the evening, you may take a leisurely walk to MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok, known for its cafés, street food, shopping, and the vibrant ambience of hill-town nightlife.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Stay: Gangtok)

After breakfast, prepare for a high-altitude adventure to some of Sikkim’s most iconic sights.

  • First, visit the Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) – a sacred glacial lake at 12,400 ft, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The lake changes colours with the seasons and remains frozen in winter. You may enjoy yak rides and photography here.
  • Next, proceed to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple (New Baba Mandir), built in honour of the brave soldier whose spirit is believed to protect the soldiers of the region.
  • Optional (Extra Cost): A trip to Nathula Pass, the historic Indo-China border at 14,140 ft (subject to permit & weather).

Return to Gangtok by afternoon.

  • Evening is free for relaxation or strolling around local markets.

Day 3 - Gangtok ➝ Silk Route ➝ Nathang Valley (Stay: Nathang Valley)

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to the legendary Old Silk Route, once part of the ancient trade path between India and Tibet.

  • As you proceed, you will pass through the quiet villages of Lingtam and Padamchen, where the real charm of the Silk Route begins. The forest trails, rivers, and peaceful surroundings will immediately calm your senses.
  • Your journey continues upward through the famous
  • Zuluk Zig-Zag Road (Thambi View Point / Lungthung View Point),

one of the most photographed road networks in the world. From the viewpoints, you can witness breathtaking panoramas of the Eastern Himalayas and the entire zig-zag pattern of the road.

  • Further ahead lies the iconic Kupup Lake and the Yak Golf Course area.
  • By afternoon, you will reach the mystical Nathang Valley, often called the Ladakh of the East due to its vast golden meadows and high-altitude landscapes.
  • Check in to your homestay, enjoy the serene surroundings, and experience the chilled air of Nathang, situated at approx. 13,500 ft.

Day 4 - Nathang ➝ Sunrise Point ➝ Padamchen (Stay: Padamchen)

Wake up early for a breathtaking experience at

  • Eagle’s Nest / Thambi View Point / Lungthung Sunrise Point,

depending on weather conditions.

If the weather is clear, you can witness the Golden Kanchenjunga Sunrise, one of the most memorable views of the entire trip.

  • Return to your homestay for breakfast, relax a bit, and then start your descent from the high mountains. The scenery changes from barren landscapes to lush greenery as you reach Padamchen, a peaceful village nestled on the slopes of the Silk Route.

Check in to your homestay and enjoy the calm surroundings.

  • You can take short nature walks, explore the village life, or simply relax with mountain views.

Day 5 - Padamchen ➝ Sillery Gaon (Stay: Sillery Gaon)

After breakfast, you will proceed towards Sillery Gaon, one of the most beautiful offbeat destinations of North Bengal, often called the New Darjeeling due to its spectacular views and peaceful ambience.

  • Upon arriving, check-in at the homestay and refresh.
    Later, explore the local attractions:
  • Ramitey View Point – Famous for the longest view of the River Teesta.
  • Tinchuley View Point – Offers a grand panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
  • Silent Valley – A serene grassy meadow perfect for short walks and photography.
  • Sillery Gaon offers mesmerizing sunset and sunrise views, making your final night truly memorable

Day 6 - Sillery Gaon ➝ NJP / Bagdogra Departure

RULES FOR VISIT TO NATHULA

  • Nathula visit depends absolutely on the permission of defense dep,weather & road conditions.
  • Only limited permits are issued for which necessary papers are required prior to the scheduled tour.
  • Guest must take their decision to cover this place much before. Then and their decision will not make it possible for Nathula Pass travel. It is suggested on direct payment basis.
  • Nathu-la remains open for the visitors on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Nathula is NOT ADVISABLE for guest having problem with blood pressure, knee & heart. Since Nathula is a restricted area, any time army can seal for security reasons. In such case tour will only be till Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir and no refund will be allowed for unutilized services.
  • Please note if guest want to cover Nathula Pass @ Rs.4000/- to Rs. 5000/- (approx) will be supplementary cost per vehicle. Payment direct to the transporter. But we need the soft copy of the following documents at least 10 days before the journey.

REMEMBER

“Mystique Mountain Adventure” shall not be responsible in any way for non-appearance of snow due to global temperature variations in winter locations.

Natural Phenomena- Change in global temperature is a natural phenomenon and is not under the control of any individual or organization. Unforeseen Conditions- An unexpected weather condition with or without snow. Adventure companies usually plan their activities based on weather forecasts and historical data, but they have no control over nature.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 “Mystique Mountain Adventure” offers you the opportunity to adventure at a specific location. They can provide transport, accommodation and other logistical support. But weather conditions are beyond their control. Therefore, if your experience is not as expected due to lack of snow in the winter area, “Mystique Mountain Adventure” will not be legally or financially responsible for the same. Before booking you should read their terms and conditions carefully where this is likely to be mentioned.

CANCELLATION AND FORCE MAJOR POLICY/ PER PERSON

* 30 days – 20 days left of travel 25% deduction. * Below 20 days – 10 days left of travel 50% deduction. * Below 10 days left of travel 100% deduction/ adjustment. * Accepted only a valid reason for cancellation.

Force Majeure (Natural Calamities) Clause

“Mystique Mountain Adventure” shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or trip interruptions caused by – * Earthquakes, floods, landslides, storms, heavy snowfall, or avalanches. * Government-imposed travel bans or national emergencies. * Any other unforeseen natural disasters.

NO REFUND POLICY

* In case of trip cancellation during the journey due to a natural calamity, no refunds will be issued. * All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • 1. Finalization of Itinerary & Services:
All trip details—including hotel accommodation, vehicle type, destination plan, sightseeing schedule, and other inclusions—are thoroughly checked and finalized before the booking is confirmed. Once the itinerary is finalized, any request for changes will be chargeable.
  • 2. Hotel Ratings, Reviews & Guest Preferences:
All hotels provided by Mystique Mountain Adventure are carefully selected based on verified guest reviews, ranging from 3.9-star to 5-star ratings. Guests are requested to review the hotel’s ratings, features, and facilities carefully before confirmation to ensure they match your personal preferences, so that no change is required later.
  • 3. Changes After Trip Commencement:
After the trip has started, any modification requested by the guest—such as changing the hotel, vehicle, route, sightseeing plan, or destination—will involve additional charges, depending on availability and price differences.
  • 4. Change of Hotel After Check-in:
If the guest wants to change or upgrade the hotel after check-in, the guest must - • Pay the full charge of the originally booked hotel, and • Pay the additional cost of the new hotel. • No refund will be provided for the originally booked accommodation.
  • 5. Hotel Change Before Check-in:
If the guest wishes to change the hotel before check-in, all changes are subject to availability and price difference. The guest must bear any extra amount required for the upgraded or alternative property.
  • 6. Vehicle Change:
Requests for changing or upgrading the vehicle (e.g. Xylo/ Innova → Crysta, WagonR → Dzire, Bolero → Eartiga etc.) will be accepted only if available, and the guest must pay the difference in cost.
  • 7. Destination or Itinerary Changes:
If the guest wants to modify the destination or sightseeing plan during the trip (for example, adding or removing locations), such changes will: • Require additional charges, • Depend on road conditions, weather, and local regulations, and • Be fully subject to the driver’s and company’s operational feasibility.
  • 8. Non-Refundable Services:
Once the trip begins, the following services are strictly non-refundable - • Hotel charges • Vehicle charges • Entry fees / Permits • Any pre-booked activity
  • 9. Force Majeure & Uncontrollable Situations:
• In case of natural calamities, strikes, roadblocks, landslides, political issues, or government restrictions, the itinerary may change. • Any additional expenses arising due to such situations must be borne by the guest.

CHILD POLICY

Children up to 5 years: Complimentary stay & travel (no extra cost, sharing bed and meals with parents).

Children aged 5 to 7 years: 50% of the adult package cost will be applicable.

Children above 7 years: Considered as an adult and full package cost will be applicable.
